About Spice Jar

Spice Jar is an indian restaurant in Fontana, California. It is listed at 17052 Slover Ave Ste J110-111, Fontana, CA 92337, which places it among the local businesses of Fontana that residents and visitors turn to when they need this kind of service close by. Besides its main category, the business also describes itself as restaurant, so it may cover more than the name suggests.

Portion sizes and pricing swing widely across this group, from a $10 lunch bowl to a multi-course tasting menu at an upscale sushi counter, so checking recent reviews and photos is more useful than the price range alone. In Fontana, dinner reservations for popular izakaya, hot pot and Korean BBQ spots fill up on Friday and Saturday nights, so booking ahead or arriving at opening is worth it. Many restaurants across California run daily lunch specials on weekdays that are not listed on the dinner menu, so it is worth asking. Halal, vegetarian and gluten-free options vary a lot by kitchen; call ahead if you have a dietary restriction rather than assuming the menu will note it.

Hours are published for 7 days a week. On most of those days it is open 10 am–10 pm. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. You can reach Spice Jar at (909) 350-7010; calling is usually the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions.

With 3.9 out of 5 on Google from 582 reviews, it sits in the middle of the range for indian restaurants in Fontana. Recent reviews are the best guide.

Fontana is in California, on the West Coast, where the climate ranges from foggy coast to hot inland valleys, wildfire season can affect air quality in late summer, and traffic is the main thing to plan around. Went in for their lunch buffet not too long ago,As soon as we went in the door there was a really nasty stink,Very gassy smell. Then there was no one to who would give is a table to sit,We had to wait good 5 mins then finally got seated. When we went to get our food, there was only 5 items including buffet out of which two was empty and never filled. The hot rice was on a plastic placed over their trey.(Pic attached)How toxic that could be you guys should know. The raita(Yoghurt) Was spoilt and had bubbles, it tasted like chemical,i had to spit it out and when i told them instead of looking into the matter they just made another from their kitchen, Didnt even replace the one spoiled. The samosas were clearly frozen,The goat curry had very sour taste as if its on the verge of spoiling.Once done, there was no one to take payment,I could have easily walked out and no one would have noticed but to my decency i went to the grocery section where the lady didnt even looked up once while she was on her phone, the whole transaction was while she was on her phone,I pressed on printed receipt and she didnt even looked up to give me that,I had to do it myself.Made a big mistake coming here,Am not lyin

I have never seen fish pakora with lots of onions and pepper. Second item chili chicken was too sweet with wrong box packing. We order raita and they were giving us lassi instead. When I called back about their fish instead of apologizing she said we have full BABE DI KIRPA and I told her the way your service and food quality, Babe Di Kirpa would not last long.

Amazing food and Indian Grocery store! Incredible selection of herbs, spices with too much to choose from. I would definitely come here for ghee and time to browse around. I have eaten here many times and enjoyed every bite of food I’ve been blessed to consume πŸ™πŸ½

The restaurant was empty when we went, everything was very clean and tidy. The staff was very friendly and helpful. All the food was freshly prepared and so very tasty. For everything that we ordered the price was not bad and the portions were huge.
